Tidio Team allows you to create multiple projects under the same account (the email address you use to log in), making managing conversations much easier for multiple sites.

Add a new project

Each project in Tidio comes with independent settings and configuration, but you can use the same email address to log in and quickly switch between projects.

Adding a new project is a simple task: click on your picture in the bottom left corner and click on the Create New Project button. This will allow you to create a new project.

Set up a new project

Once you’ve added a project, you’ll see a tutorial that will help you set up the project. You’ll be asked to provide your name, role, field of expertise, etc. This step allows you to customize the widget, just like you did when you first installed Tidio.

Once set up, you will need to install the widget on your website.

Install the project on your website

You can install your project by going to Settings> Live chat> Installation .

Click on the platform name to see the installation instructions. If you don’t see your platform listed – select the JavaScript code instructions.

Switching between projects

Once you’ve finished setting up and installing your project, you’ll gain access to the new Tidio dashboard. From there, you can manage the conversations, appearance, and any additional settings for that specific project (just like you did for your original project).

Click on your picture in the lower left corner and open the project list to select the project you want to enter :

The page will refresh, and you will be taken to the project you selected.

Deleting projects

To completely delete your Tidio project, you must be the project owner and make sure you are logged in to the project you want to delete.

To delete the project, go to Settings> Project & Billing> Preferences there you will see a red delete button for the project.

By clicking the Delete Project button, you can delete the entire project from our database.

Edit project name

To edit the project name, connect to the correct project and go to Settings> Project & Billing> Preferences . You can edit the project name in the URL field.

The URL will be visible to your customers at the bottom of emails sent from Tidio.
