At Tidio, we believe strongly in data, as it is the key to understanding your users. We listened carefully to you and learned that one of the most requested features was a tool to better understand how your flows are performing.

My Flows performance

To see how your flow is performing, go to Tidio’s Flows category (in the left menu of your Tidio admin panel).

Flow Performance Analytics in Tidio

On the left side, you’ll see the name of the flow, and on the right side – whether the flow is active or inactive, a three-dot menu with the option to edit it, review it, or see more options. Above you’ll see the flow analytics.

In Tidio’s Flows category, there are four metrics available:

  • Number of visitors achieved.
  • Number of messages sent.
  • The conversion rate of the flow.
  • User engagement rate.

Increase engagement with flows

A short welcome message to your customers can make their shopping experience a little more pleasant. It is also one of the key factors in increasing your sales. However, it should be noted that if you do not require action from the visitor, it will not increase your engagement rate.

The flow welcome message may be the first interaction a person has with your brand. With flow, your website visitors will see the message almost immediately after arriving on your site. What you say will leave a first impression of you and your brand personality. If you really want to engage your users, ask questions and provide them with buttons, cards, or quick responses.

Additionally, review and learn how to edit the flow and its initial message.

Interesting fact: Tidio allows you to integrate your flows with existing CRM systems, so you can track customer interactions seamlessly and improve the overall customer experience!

Make flows more interactive

To make your flows more interactive, it’s important to add elements that invite users to respond. For example, you can add open-ended questions or short polls that can encourage users to share their opinions.

You can also use buttons with different options so that users can choose the response that suits them. This not only increases engagement, but also provides you with valuable data about user preferences.

Monthly limit on flows

Flows control allows you to reach a certain number of customers with automated messages sent by your flows. We call this the monthly flow limit or flow quota .

You can track your current quota (as well as additional quotas for your project) in the Dashboard category :

You can also quickly check the basic dimensions by clicking the Usage and Program button in the upper-right corner:

How is flow usage calculated?

1 unique controller = unlimited flows performance

One unique visitor who has completed at least one flow consumes 1 of your monthly quota . The same visitor can complete more flows, or even the same flow multiple times, and it will no longer count against your monthly quota. It’s a bit like the “all you can eat” offer at some restaurants; pay once, and eat as much as you choose.

You can send multiple flow messages (e.g., welcome message for new visitors, discounts for returning visitors, auto-responses for missed calls, etc.) to one unique visitor, and it will still count as one visitor earned. This essentially means that you can provide each visitor with unlimited Flows during your monthly cap cycle.

In the free version, the number of visitors achieved is limited to 100 per month . This means that your flows can serve a maximum of 100 unique visitors per month.

So don’t worry if one of your flows isn’t performing well. Experimenting with its optimization performance. You can also try to encourage visitors at different stages of the user journey.

Tip: When testing the performance of your flows, try to pay attention to which parts users respond best. You might find that adding a simple question or an extra button can significantly improve engagement!
