Visualization is the language in which engineers communicate ideas, and it is also the basis for collaboration between teams. As technology advances, CAD/BIM is gradually replacing traditional drawing methods. Digital models, their construction, management and use enable accurate visualizations throughout the project life cycle, reducing costs and errors, and improving project quality, efficiency and safety.
This program will allow you to acquire practical knowledge from engineering, structural to model management, and will make you a competitive professional in the market.
This course was designed in collaboration with renowned engineering consultants Arup. While working on practical engineering problems, students will revisit and learn the knowledge and skills acquired in this series, and understand the challenges and solution methods of CAD/BIM in engineering.
The project will stimulate students’ creativity and enrich learning. At the end of the course, students will become budding professionals with competitiveness in the job market. The course will explain what engineering problems they need to solve, the step-by-step solution tasks, and students will recommend innovative ideas and submit reports.
Outstanding students will be given unique opportunities to present their CVs to Arup.
