Stop-Loss and Take-Profit are conditional orders that automatically execute a market order or limit when the markup price reaches the trigger price set by the user. If the mark price reaches or exceeds the trigger price, the Stop-Loss/Take-Profit order will become active and enter the order book. If the markup price does not reach the trigger price, the order will remain active until canceled or activated. The minimum jump size of the instrument Currency Trading Pairs:
- Aggressive Bandwidth: 15% of the Activation
Price Passive Bandwidth: 0.1x of the Activation Price for Buy Orders, 10x of the Activation Price for Sell Orders
Perpetual Contracts and Potchers Contracts:
- Aggressive bandwidth: 5% of the startup
price Passive bandwidth: 50% of the startup price
If you are placing a market order at Stop-Loss/Take-Profit, you must enter the trigger price according to the conditions described above. Once the markup price reaches the trigger price, a market order will be placed at the next available price.
Stop-Loss Order
Stop-Loss orders can help traders reduce risk by automatically closing long/short positions if the price moves in an undesirable direction. A Stop-Loss order can also be placed if the user does not have an open position. The user can only place a Stop-Loss sell order if the trigger price is lower than the current markup price, and a buy order if the trigger price is higher than the current markup price.

Take-Profit Order
Take-Profit orders can help traders secure a profit by automatically closing a position if the price is moving in the desired direction. A Take-Profit order can also be executed if the user does not have an open position. Users can only place a buy order on Take-Profit if the trigger price is lower than the current markup price, and a sell order if the trigger price is higher than the current markup price.
