What are the eligibility conditions for this offer?
There are three steps that the user needs to take during the promotion period to be eligible:
- Apply for or upgrade to a metal Crypto.com Visa card;
- Provide CRO Net Buy >= 100% of the CRO lock-up requirement in Crypto.com app;
- Make a purchase on an Apple or Samsung store, physically or online, with the new card within 30 days of its issuance.

I applied for a ticket during the previous promotion period. Can I get a refund on Samsung products?
No, the four periods of the promotion will be examined and considered as individual events.
- CRO refund for the first promotion period (March 7, 2024 10:30 UTC – April 2, 2024 10:30 UTC) applies to Apple products only.
- The CRO refund for the previous promotional period (2 April 2024 10:31 UTC – 28 April 2024 10:30 UTC) is applicable to Apple or Samsung products only.
- CRO refund for the current promotion period (9 July 2024 10:01 UTC – 4 August 2024 10:00 UTC) applies to Apple or Samsung products only.
In which markets is this offer valid?
The offer is only open to residents of Australia, Brazil, Canada, the European Economic Area, New Zealand, Singapore, the Philippines, Taiwan, and the United States (excluding the territories of the United States and the State of New York).
What is the CRO Net Buy requirement?
CRO Net Buy refers to the net volume of CRO purchased during the promotion period in dollar terms. It is calculated as follows: CRO Net Buy = CRO Buy – CRO Sell – CRO Withdrawals.
As an illustrative example: Tom decides to apply for a Jade/Indigo card in the United States, his first Visa Crypto.com card. Tom decides to purchase a $4000 worth of CRO in Crypto.com app;
Tom applies for a Jade/Indigo card in the app by locking in a $4000
CRO;After submitting the application, Tom's CRO data related to CRO is:
CRO Buy Volume: $4000 (from applying for his card)
CRO Sell: $0 (assuming there were no sales transactions on the Crypto.com app or on the exchange)
CRO Withdrawal: $0 (assuming there were no withdrawals from the Crypto.com app or exchange)
Tom's CRO Net Buy is $4000; which corresponds to the Indigo/Jade lock-in requirement. Tom is entitled to receive a refund for his next purchase on an official Apple Store with his new Jade/Indigo card (assuming there were no other CRO sales or withdrawals during the promotion period). He is entitled to a refund for any of his Apple purchases within 3 months after the end of the promotion.
Are there any limits on the amount of the CRO refund?
Yes. The CRO refund amount is limited as follows for each eligible user card level:
- Up to $40 CRO Value at Ruby Steel
- Jade Green or Royal Indigo: up to $800 CRO value
- Icy White or Rose Gold: up to $5,000 CRO value
- Up to $20,000 CRO Value at Obsidian
When will I receive my refund amount?
You will receive the CRO refund in your crypto wallet in the app within 3 months of the end of the promotion period.
Can I buy any Apple/Samsung product? Can I buy multiple products?
- Yes, you can buy one or multiple Apple/Samsung products (all Apple/Samsung products are eligible), but note that only the first transaction in the Apple/Samsung Store will be eligible for a refund. All products must be listed centrally as part of the first transaction.
- You must buy from an official Apple/Samsung store (physical or online) within 30 days of card issue.
- Dealing with Apple/Samsung authorized distributors, electronics stores, and collaboration are not eligible for a refund.
- Examples:
- A Ruby Steel cardholder is eligible to purchase AirPods (second generation) worth $129. It will have a refund of $40 CRO value.
- Icy White card holder Purchase over $5,000 worth of Samsung products (8K NEO QLED 85” Samsung TV, Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, and Galaxy S24 Ultra) in one transaction. It will be refunded in the amount of $5,000 worth of CRO.
Only the first transaction in the Apple/Samsung store will be refunded?
- Yes, only the first transaction on the Apple/Samsung Store will be refunded.
- Please note that in some cases, Apple/Samsung may split the total amount into multiple transactions due to software limitations. In this case, Crypto.com will refund for multiple transactions from the same order (the same order must be identical). Please keep your original invoice for verification in these cases.
Can I buy Apple/Samsung products without a physical card?
Yes – in addition to POS transactions with a physical card, you can do the following:
- Buy Apple products online using your virtual card, or
- Add your virtual card to Apple Pay/Google Pay (availability varies by region) and make transactions in the official Apple Store physically or online.
How do I buy CRO on Crypto.com app?
You can buy CRO on the Crypto.com app using any of the methods mentioned below:
- Purchase by credit/debit card.
- From a fiat currency wallet.
- From a cryptocurrency wallet (e.g. conversion between ETH and CRO).
- Apple / Google Pay.

I am a Crypto.com Visa card holder. Am I eligible?
Yes, existing Crypto.com Visa cardholders are eligible if they choose:
- Upgrade the card to a higher level than any cards held before, and
- Fulfill a CRO locking requirement at a higher level than they previously held.
Please note that the same CRO Net Buy volume requirement applies.
What if I trade-in on an Apple/Samsung product for example: iPhone/Galaxy S24 and receive a credit from Apple/Samsung?
In that case, you will only receive refunds for the net amount paid to Apple. Dogma:
An eligible Jade Green card holder purchases an iPhone 15 Pro for $1,088 but trades in on their current iPhone 13 and receives a $500 credit from Apple. This user will receive a refund in the amount of $588 CRO value (depending on the net amount paid to Apple).
